Southeastern Mills has a good thing going, but their last website was holding them back. They needed an online space where they could shine and a small team at Erwin Penland came through for them.
I ran web page tests on the two largest competitors and set my goals to have a 20% smaller homepage, lower speed index, and faster load.
Of course, as it turns out, once again, front-end work worth talking about is hard and adding performance consideration to the mix just takes it to another level. Every decision was important.
